Pastor

Evangelist, Trudy S. Boyd

Pastor Trudy S. Boyd is the daughter of James Simmons and the Late Annie B. Simmons of Orangeburg, SC. She is the eldest of her siblings. She resides in Aiken, SC with her husband of 38 years, Co-Pastor John Boyd, Sr. They have two children, Kesha Littles, and John Jr. and six adorable grandchildren.

Pastor Boyd was licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ on February 26, 1989, at Bethany Full Gospel Church of Orangeburg, SC under the leadership of the beloved Late Apostle Lelia B. Wims. She remains under the covering of Pastor Mozella B. Isaac. Pastor Boyd was set apart as Pastor of Bethany Full Gospel Church #2 of New Ellenton, SC. In 2011, Minister Trudy S. Boyd felt the leading of the Lord to begin a church in the Aiken, SC area where she serves as the Pastor. The church is an extension of the ministry started by the late Apostle Lelia B. Wims and is thus named, Bethany Full Gospel Church #2.

Pastor Boyd enjoys time with her family and friends. She loves teaching others the Word of God, winning souls unto God’s Kingdom and she loves Street Ministry, but most of all “She Loves the Lord.”

She has a degree in Business. She worked at Security Federal Bank as Vice President in the Financial Counseling department as the Community Development Officer. Before coming to the bank, she was the Community Based Outreach Director at the Aiken Canter for Alcohol/and Drug Services, where she worked with Addicted and Recovering Women and their families. It was here working with these families that got her recognized by the Aiken Rotary Club as an “Unsung Hero.” The challenges and joy of working in the field are where she developed her love and compassion for serving women. The challenges of this ministry became a strength for her. For it allowed her to minister and aspiring women from all walks of life while supporting them through their recovery.

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
